Mr Freeman was very open about my options, explaining everything in sufficient detail without blinding me with science, so I could understand my choices. The proceedure was quick and efficient and my recovery the same. I was kept informed all the way through the process and Mr Freeman was excellent.

My experience whilst under the care with Mr Freeman was exceptional. He explained in detail the operation and postoperative care in a very clear and concise way. As a lay person I find hospitals a rather unnerving experience. All my questions and process of my recovery were explained in a kindly and careing manner.

I believe Mr Freeman to be a very professional and competent surgeon. He is very approachable, has a very reassuring, caring and sympathetic manner, he listens and explains everything with great clarity and is happy to answer any questions put to him.
Following the surgical procedure of a minimally invasive toe fusion the recovery time was quicker than I had expected and had no complications.
At the six week consultation Mr Freeman showed me the x-rays to illustrate the fusion of the toe, discussed the recovery process and took time to explain what activities I could realistically expect to do in the next few months and beyond.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mr Freeman to others requiring foot or ankle surgery and would certainly choose him to perform any surgery should I require it in the future.

Excellent results achieved by Mr Freeman after having a very painful and swollen ankle.
Now have the freedom of walking without the pain and swelling I had.
Mr Freeman performed an ankle arthroscopy and lateral ligament reconstruction.
All consultations with him were very pleasant and reassuring.

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with sub-specialist training in both Foot & Ankle surgery and Major Trauma.
My elective practice includes all aspects for foot and ankle surgery including minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy and total ankle replacement. I have a particular interest in sports injuries and have fellowship experience of managing professional athletes.
I am the principle surgeon for foot an ankle trauma in Brighton and frequently manage referrals from across the South Coast including complex deformity and bone infection cases.
